My World

Today we at Tapuz.co.il have launched a new product/service that we call “Worlds” or in Hebrew “Olamot”. The idea behind this product is that any “netizen” needs a digital place that will act as a center for his cultural, social and professional interests and contents. More and more people spend more and more time in the virtual world with their virtual identity and this hub will help them to develop and maintain their virtual reputation.

In the next screenshot you can see “My World”. Click here to see it live.

We want Hebrew in our iPOD!

Apple does not support Hebrew in  iPODs. Edo Mendelson, an Israeli developer has programmed a free application that enables using Hebrew font on the iPOD. "Yeda", Apple disributer in Israel,  doesn't support any of the iPODs that needs technical support after using his software.

Meanwhile, A group of Israeli iPOD fans have started a petition calling Steve Jobs & Apple to support Hebrew in their product. 200 supporters have already signed it.

For financing the work on his software, Edo is starting to sell branded blank DVDR/CDR media:
